Dear person reading this,
below is what is supposed to be general 'dear author' letter for exchanges that I join, or if you are just for some reason looking to write me a fic. To me 'dear author' letters are a delicate balance and subject, because too much sometimes can be overwhelming and too little might seem terse, and I really basically just want to say: Thank You so much for writing something for me, in an exchange and/or a fandom that I like! I might have posted more specific things in a signup (if there weren't any plotty tags, say), if indeed this letter comes to you as a link in a signup ... and if I didn't then really just pick one (or more) of the free-form/plotty/trope/concept tags I picked and run with it/them! I shall be sure to like it!
That said, and possibly as a repeat,
My Do Not Wants (DNWs) are: permanent break up of a requested ship, permanently unreciprocated feelings within the requested ship, permanent death of requested character(s) (if characters are dead in canon, bring them back or set the fic beforehand or just handwave something or pretend it never happened - that I am zero fussy with), non-con, spit kink, no lube, daddy or mommy kink, ageplay, littlespace, dark! versions of the characters, watersports, scat, blood-play, gender bending/swap, degrading language used in intimate situations/slut shaming (even if it turns a character on), unhappy endings, alcoholic characters, alcohol featuring prominently. No underage characters in sexual situations, please (aged up sliiightly the scant few years to get them over the line is 100% my jam though).
MCU specific: please no spoilers for anything that was released post-Endgame and no dead or alcoholic Tony Stark.
What I like, in general, are basically all the happpy fluffy soft things: Fluff, happiness, slice of life fics, moments we didn’t get to see in canon. I really like happy endings (I just wanted to say that first, because that’s like my biggest thing … give me angsting and pining and sadness, but please also a happy ending). I like dubcon of the they-were-secretly-pining-but-an-outside-entity-forced-their-hand fics (think sexpollen, aliens made them do it, ...), feelings realization, unrequited pining that isn't acutally unrequited, first time fics, getting together fics, characters being competent and living their best lives.
If this is an exchange that uses additional tags as genre or plot ideas ("accidental marriage," "Character A Confesses Feelings Because They Think Character B is Unconscious", "requited unrequited feelings," ...) rather than an exchange that goes with fandom and characters only, then whatever tags I picked there trump what I posted here - this letter is not meant to override whatever the exchange gave you and matched us on!
